Homer Floatplane Lodge & Cabins is very conveniently located on the shores of Beluga Lake just between downtown Homer and the Homer Spit.   We are 1 mile from the airport and 2 miles from the Homer Boat Harbor for your fishing charter.  Homer city center is just across the lake 1 mile and the beaches and cannery row are 1 – 3 miles away.  We are in the center of many summer activities, but our location on the lake make you feel like you are at a private lodge.

Two ways to get to Homer

Driving from Anchorage will take approximately 4-5 hours, 230 miles.  It is a gorgeous drive down the Kenai Peninsula.  Traffic can be very heavy on the highway during the months of June & July.  You can get rental cars in Anchorage, which are returned to Anchorage.  The rental car companies do not have a Homer return site.  This is a great way to see more of Alaska, but remember you will spend 8 – 10 hours of your vacation on the road.

If you should fly in our dock is available for tie ups.  Please call ahead, or use the beach tie-ups.  Our dock is reserved for pilot providing flight services for our guests.

Rental cars are available in Homer - pioneercarrentals.com.  There are only 40 rental cars in Homer, so reserve early.
