Reservation Policy
RESERVATIONS, DEPOSITS & FINAL PAYMENTS: Homer FloatPlane Lodge requires a deposit for each trip you reserve. A 50% deposit is due within 14 days of making your reservation. In the event a conflicting reservation is received prior to receiving your deposit we will contact you for full confirmation. Balances are due 60 days prior to your arrival at the lodge. Prices are guaranteed after deposit is received. For reservations make within 60 days of arrival, full payment is due at the time of the reservation.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: Payments are refundable less a 10% per person “Cancellation Fee” if notice of cancellation is received at least 60 days prior to arrival date. Payments are non-refundable for cancellations received within 59 days of arrival date. In the event of a “NO SHOW” there is NO REFUND. If you decide to take a day off fishing or scheduled activity, there is no refund. These fees and policies do not reflect additional cancellation charges that may be levied by individual operators, i.e. pilots, fishing charters, kayak services, etc. We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance.
ACTIVITIES NOT BOOKED WITH US: You will be responsible for guide contact, scheduling and payment. We will suggest a list of our favorite guides and vendors to make your trip complete. They each have their own cancellation and no show policies. Please be familiar with their policies prior to your trip.
WEATHER/MECHANICAL CANCELLATIONS: All cancellations due to weather are at the sole discretion of the boat Captain or Pilot. A full refund will be given if a trip is cancelled by the Captain or the Pilot. If the boat or plane leaves the docks and returns due to weather your trip will be prorated based on the time/distance from the Harbor or dock. In the event of a mechanical failure we reserve the right to substitute boats or planes to complete the activity. Weather cancellations receive NO REFUND on lodging.
RECEIPT OF DEPOSIT AND/OR FINAL PAYMENT IS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
THAT REGISTRANT HAS READ AND ACCEPTS THE CANCELLATION
REFUND AND RESPONSIBILITY CLAUSES.
To protect yourself and your investment in the event of any unexpected cancellation Homer FloatPlane Lodge recommends the purchase of trip cancellation insurance through a third party.
CHANGES: You may request a change to your reservation one time at no charge, subject to space availability.
AIR TRANSPORTATION: All airfare prices are subject to change at any time and not guaranteed until tickets have been issued.
METHOD OF PAYMENT: Payments may be made by personal check, cash, credit card or money order. All credits to a credit card are charged a 5% processing fee.
